Wireless Mesh and Relay Networks

چکیده
The paper considers the newest trends in wireless networks based on the Mesh and Relay systems. The basic idea is to perform date transmission via intermediate relay stations and thus range extension and higher throughput can be achieved. The article further introduces IEEE 802.11s and IEEE 802.16j standards that are at the present time in the process of standardization. These standards propose implementation of Mesh and Relay principles into LAN and MAN wireless networks.
